My practice has two areas of focus:

For lawyers: I am a contract, or "freelance" lawyer. I do research and write major motions and appeals in civil litigation, and provide other assistance with litigation-oriented tasks. I have substantial experience in both federal and private-sector employment law, government contracts, administrative law, commercial litigation, and insurance defense.

For non-lawyers: I handle matters relating to guardianship and conservatorship of incapacitated adults, including, where possible, finding ways of helping the elderly to manage their affairs with dignity and independence. I am certified in Virginia as a guardian ad litem for incapacitated adults. In addition, I am Of Counsel to Gilbert Employment Law, P.C. which represents employees in both federal and private-sector employment matters, and to Boone & Associates, P.C., a healthcare and personal injury defense law firm.
